Default New Firebird Spoiler

Here are some pics of a spoiler that we had made. I needed a new spoiler after I sold Mark at 6LE my IROC spoiler that I had on the car originally. I wanted something different. Let me know what you all think.

Thank you. There is a pretty cool back story to the spoiler as well. I'll try to get some better pics when I clean the rest of the car.

honestly, looks like a giant birdbath and pretty much a copy of another one I've seen on here before. But then again I'm a high-rise or no go guy, after 2 years of living with the birdbath of a factory low-rise hatch.

I respect your opinion and agree about the birdbath but since my car doesn't get driven in the rain or stay parked outside the rain factor isn't a big deal to me. It's possible that this is the same spoiler that you have seen on here before. A friend of mine had posted it when we first started the molds. I also like the high rise spoiler except from the direct view from behind. I've never liked how the deck lid rolls into the taillights. Looks odd to me but nothing is sexier than the high rise spoiler looking down the side.

well it is the one I was able to find https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...m-spoiler.html but I swear there was something else close to it more recently in the threads, but searching I something I don't have the time for right now.

Sorta. Here's the story about the spoiler. Years ago we met a man who was working with SLP. This spoiler was originally going to be the IROC spoiler that came on the 01-02 Firehawk. They ended up scrapping this one because of the aerodynamic testing is much better on the IROC spoiler. He offered the original to us and so we had it for years. There is a fiberglass shop that we know in SC about thirty minutes south of where we are. He offered to teach us how to make the mold and reproduce the spoiler so that's what we did. So far we made 5 of them, one of which is on my car and three others are already accounted for here locally. I like things different so as of now I'm the only one with the spoiler. Pretty cool in my opinion. One of my good friends Travis (tbird31) is going to put one on his car as well.

I appreciate the kind words. I'll try to get some good pics tomorrow outside. The car is filthy, she's been in purgatory the past few years as I was working on my SOM Formula. I'm excited to start driving them both again. I've owned this car since late 1995.
