Default Mr. Clean Autodry Carwash

Has anyone tired the new Mr. Clean Autodry Carwash? What do you think about it? I tired it yesterday on my black CTS-V and I thought was the best
product I have ever used. It dried with absolutely no water spots !

I think the best way to sum up this product is this:

1. If used as directed, it does everything it claims to, works perfectly.

But....
2. It requires you to refill the soap ($) and change the filter ($) every 3 washes.

That is just too much maintenance and $$$ for something that you can do effectively with a bucket, huge jug of nxt soap ($3.99) and a cali water blade. If it was just soap refills I could deal with it, but 2 different things that constantly need to be replaced is too much for me.

I used it, "correctly", two different times, & thought it sucked, ..., left water spots, ...

But I only used it on my daily drivers, not my Firehawk, ..., Damn good thing too, cuz I would've really been pissed if it did that to my black car, ...

Buy a commercial grade water softener. It is filtering the water to prevent spots but they want you to use their soap so you keep coming back for refills ($$$).

A commercial softener will last a lot longer and if your careful when washing you’ll prevent swirls. Two birds with one stone

Two things...

There are a ton of threads already bout the mr. clean autowash system.

The filter that comes with the kit lasts 3 uses, the replacement filter lasts 10.

10 washes, between the guys I hang out with, that would last me 3 weeks at most haha. I'm detailing everything but my own car these days.

I think that they figured it would was a Miata about 10 times. I have a truck, and of course I expected to get less usage out of the filter. But I got about 5 washes if I was lucky. I think the product worked great, but I am going to be switching to NXT soap in the following days. I have heard great things about it. I am also contemplating getting a commercial grade filter for the garage. That is, if my wife doesn't think I am insane for doing it.

Something's not right there... I hope you're getting compensated.

I got 6 washes on my filter. I like to clean the car down real good with the filtered water. And I use the NXT soap in my Mr. Clean.
