Default Hawks Dual Gauge Dash Cluster Bezel

Is there anyone out there using one of these? I know the price is alittle absurd, but I was wanting some real world feedback on these. I cannot find any reviews.

I take it they must not be a vendor on here being my links were taken down. So I'll just assume no one has bought one on here and move on.

I believe at one point there was another vendor selling the exact same item, but they were made buy someone selling them through him. Pretty sure that fell through and he went back to selling them through his facebook page...I think all that info has been scrubbed though. Been several years back so I may not be remembering everything correctly.

its entirely possible that these are made by the same guy and hawks is just selling them for him, or they may have adopted the design and are making their own who knows. I have some of their billet parts and have no fitment issues there, most probably dont know this exists since everyone either goes pillar pod or removes vents.

I wish they made em for 93-96 cars, and also slashed ~$100 off the price..... I would snag one in a heartbeat

I don't like the pillar pod no one makes a true replaceable apillar pod that fits well is color matched or you dont have to rivet or graph it to your existing a pillar. I already have my shift light in my vent above stereo. I just liked the placement of the gauges on the gauge bezel it seems to be well located and doesnt block out any of the factory gauges or idiot lights. And In the event it is not color matched I feel it would be less noticeable in this location. I would definately try one out for $100 but $200 is alittle to steep.

Yes i have one and prefer it over the a-pillar. Fairly easy to install you will just have to remove the gauge cluster to run wires to the gauges.

I've been wondering the same thing. Thanks for the feedback LeftySS. One other question--how is the fit and finish?

This is promising news, I'm with TimE can you guys elaborate on the quaility and fit and finish of it, specifically where the dual gauge pod was graphed to the gauge bezel?

Fit is good, the left side has a very small gap but it looks like it is from the dash behind. Should be able to trim and get the fit a little better. The view of the gauges is partially blocked by steering wheel but no big deal. Will try and get pics of it installed.

Thanks for posting up some pictures, I do see the gap on the left you were talking about. Like you said some minor trimming behind it may solve the problem. But the overall fit does look good, I also see what your saying by the wheel kinda blocks the gauges. I do still have the factory wheel so it isnt as thick as your momo which may give a slightly better view.

Check out ortizcustompods

It has the gauge pod placement in the bottom corners. 4 week lead time, so I wonder if they could make it so that it has 2 in the corners and the 2 in the top left like the hawks one.
