Default LED swap in rear tails, Should I go Red or White?

The Reverse light I'll go with a White LED.

For the other 3 LEDs should I go with White or Red LEDs?

Also, will I need to swap out the hazard flasher?

for LEDs behind a red lens, you want a RED LED. White will show but not near as bright. Wouldn't hurt to upgrade to an electronic flasher, to eliminate the "hyper-flashing"

I got a set of red 3157 Plazma LEDs on eBay, they have very distinct difference between parking lights and brake lights, which is the main reason I got them.

Are these led lights a direct plug in replacement , I mean the stock wiring can handle it ?

Wiring isn't the issue. They plug in and use less wattage than the stock incandescent bulbs. However, you'll need to replace the flasher with an electronic "no load' flasher. There are a few different ones for acound $10 - $15.

Can you recommend a LOUD electronic flasher to use with LED lights?

Thanks,
John

I haven't of any specific ones being louder or quieter.
