Default Vinyl Wrap (exterior) In/Around Boston?

Anyone done it? Any places to recommend?

I'm thinking about wrapping my Mustang.

FWIW, be prepared to hear the price they quote you. A few years back I called a local place to ask about wrapping my car, I about fell out of my damn chair when they told me it would cost over $3,000. I like matte white, but I don't like matte white that much lol

I've seen people say 2K-4K depending on state they're in and color choice.

I'm wondering if anyone in or around Boston has done it and how much it was.

I'm thinking of either flat black or gloss green. Although given that my mustang is blue, black would be the safer color.

As mentioned, condition matters, as does the car itself, some cars are more difficult simply because of their design (think trans am rear bumper, or fenders/hoods with lots of vents). Also you have to consider whether or not you want door jambs done.. That can add A LOT, as it is much more work. Many people opt not to do the jambs, if so you should really consider the color of you car vs the vinyl colors you consider. Also the color/brand you choose. There are vinyls available for a few hundred dollars up to a couple thousand. The color I chose was $940 just for the vinyl, a color change by KPMF. Color availability, sheen finish, and durability will vary from brand to brand, and there are quite a few brands to choose from.

2-4K for labor is pretty accurate for most shops I've been familiar with here. Keep in mind, just like paint/bodywork, there are shops that really know their stuff and others that are trash. It is a very detail oriented job

I realize all those things. I'm just looking for people's experience with local shops and what their costs were.

Prob the best wrap shop around here charges 2-3k for a small coupe with a mid-range color material, so I wouldn't be surprised to see 2500-4000 for good work and material as mentioned.

Yup. I'm expecting those prices. I'm looking for anyone that has tried any shops near Boston (or Eastern MA in general).
