What do you use to protect your dash / leather?

Basically, want to minimize sun damage to my dashboard, leather seats.

I havent been using armor all as I have heard bad things about it. Anything else you can recommend?

I use mothers VLR but I like Meguirs products better.

Regular Turtle Wax Caranauba spray.
Looks great, helps restore not weaken, lasts a long time, smells good, use a microfiber cloth.

Clean dash with a soft bristles tooth brush and a very light degreaser. (like super clean diluted 12:1) don't scrub black matte black plastics or they may vent. Once clean apply a conditioner of your choice and use a microfiber rag to apply a thin layer. Don't overdue it because it will make it slimy and attract more dirt. Do the same thing with your leather. (leather isn't leather bit really just plastic). Very important though, vacuum leather first so you don't dig dirt into the seams causing cracking. Whats Optionally and highly recommended is to steam clean the leather after a good vacuum, then clean with degreaser and a brush, then dry with a cloth. Follow up with a light conditioner. Steaming works great on floors too, just don't steam before a vacuum because it turns dirt into mud.

303 aerospace protectant on the plastic, and just cheap meguirs leather conditioner on my seats

I've used 303 Aerospace Protectant on my plastics for years with great results. I really like it because it's a UV blocker, and it doesn't make the dash feel sticky/greasy like some other products. For the seats, I use Duragloss 221 leather conditioner. It does a nice job moisturizing the seats, but the real treat is it makes the interior smell like new leather for a week after applying it.

Personally, after cleaning, I use Meg's quick spray wax. Cheap, easy to work with and lasts longer than 303. Remember, the leather surface is just like a cheap plastic clear coat.

I use Einzett cockpit premium on all the plastics and Zaino Z9/Z10 on the seats .Both always leave a matte finish.

Window tint does help protect the interior and I also use a sunshade if I'm parked outside for a long period of time.

Another vote for 303 Aerospace Protectant. Excellent product for this exact purpose. After application (I use a foam applicator), any residue removes cleanly with a towel and leaves nothing but a slight (healthy) glow.

Never knew about spray wax on leather surfaces, does the same apply for the dashboard?

The best uv blocker would be a shade

Einzett Cockpit Premium, and a garage :D

I took mine out and put it in the storage room with a blanket on top. No light getting to it there.
