Question Paint or dip Brembo calipers instead of powder coat?

Anyone done it? Wondering it if will hold up just as well as painting your normal ugly calipers. Maybe even just plasti dip them instead so I can peel it off easy if it sucks?

Save the dip, it won't last. Brake dust will turn them brown quick, and as advanced as dip has become, you can't get them smooth enough to wipe clean of dust without pro-level dipping. At that point, might as well paint.

Paint is an option, as Brembos are less porous when compared to your typical cast fbody calipers. However, for true durability, powder them. I have a set blasted and ready for powder if you're interested.

I've had good luck with G2 caliper paint on a few cars now.

I used duplicolor metalcast blue along with their base coat. It's held up pretty good for the ~2 months of DD I've put on them.
