Help with 98 02 camaro rear panel bowtie size If anyone could be so kind as to measure the actual size of the red bowtie on the rear panel and let me know i would appreciate it...I took mine off years ago and im getting my panel repainted and need to buy a new one...I still have the "SS" but not the bowtie...gonna hit up ebay but need to make sure its the same size..new ones come with both bowtie and ss or z28 and are $300...

No need to spend $300 on this. The GM part number is 10154591 (Bowtie w/ Z28 logo). A quick check of GM Parts Direct seems to indicate that this part number is still active/available with a list price of $60 (and of course their price is cheaper). You could simply discard the "Z28" portion and use only the bowtie since you still have the SS part of your original.

Definitely check out that part number. Looks like they can be had brand new, ready to install, with adhesive already attached for about ~$38 plus shipping. And that comes with the detached "Z28" component as well, which you could possibly sell for a few dollars.
