GL finding one.... Here is the entire catback I may know of a dude selling a 98-02 Borla over in Arlington for $750 if interested... If not, be diligent.. I lucked into this one. What started as me buying the G2 WC wheels, turned into"Are you interested in a Borla"?. This is the pic he sent me prior to me polishing up... It looks brand new now. Installing them next week.. GL w search.

Awesome find. You just dont see 4th gen 1LE cars much at all. I hated Teal back in the era when these cars were brand new. However, now that every other car is not Teal these days, I think its pretty cool, especially with the oddball neutral interior color. Enjoy man .

Thanks for the kind words.... Yes, it truly is a unicorn.... Out of the 3 BTM 1LE Z28's for 96 this is the ONLY one w the tan interior. The other 2 are gray... This one is a keeper for sure.
I too was not a fan of Teal when they first came out on the 3rd gen RS/Z28... I actually fell in love w the BTM SS (96-97)… I have often thought of picking up an LT1 SS hood/spoiler and badging this car as an SS.... But I kinda like the rarity of the Z28. Even though all of the SS's started out as Z28.. This one does not have the WU8 RPO code...

Adding the Borla soon, tinting windows, Strano lowering springs... At that point I will call it a day. Will probably paint the mirrors the body color of the car and just leave the top black.

More progress pics and posts to come. Thanks again for your comments.

That thing is awesome!!!! Great find for sure...... Throw the hose mod on those springs if they do not lower enough on the back end.

One more thing..... Say what you will about the 4th gens, but the rear of these cars are sexy as hell. That is all the competition sees most of the time anyways

Rear springs on top.... Pull the bushing off the coil and feed the hose on. I cannot remember the size hose (maybe 5/8) but I know to use some dish liquid to help with the hose install.
