Driven it in winter for 15 years. Not so much the last few years. Now I drive my Mustang in the winter.

Hey now! :P I think mine looks awesome especially in winter mode. Everywhere it went in the winter it was almost guaranteed to be the only one in the parking lot. :burn: I don't drive it in winter anymore though. I use my Mustang for that. :)

I'll agree on that. Facebook and other such transient forms of communication are killing forums which retain and spread knowledge better.

This used to be the go to. Sometimes couldn't wait to get home and start the laptop up and dig thru the forums lol The FB groups are cancer!

To be fair we are a dying breed..... A lot have moved on to different cars.

I have a mustang too.
Mustang forums are worse.
Its not just this forum that is dying
Even lighting forums are fading away.

I'm dating myself here, but I remember my first laptop and setting in the living room with the TV going and hopping on tech back when the appearance section was still coming up with stuff that no one had done before. I loves those days no car forum/car has ever felt the same way to me
Owned a Vette, had a truck, love my GTO but it's not the same when I add personal touches.

Who remembers when the side molding delete became a thing?

I remember those times, the side molding delete, FRC, gauge overlays, painted vents, etc.

I was lurking shortly after the forum went online and joined some months after.

I lurked for quite a while myself, since it was a v6 firebird so there was a v6 forum I was on but lurked here joined about the time I was starting the swap.

Now adays you want to do something new it's stupid expensive and not for everyone. It's all been done before for the most part. Though I do.look forward to the days where fourth gems are treated like resto mod 1st/2nd gens those will be good times
