front end bra in rain?
I'd so the clear protective film and skip the bra if concerned about protecting.
Either that or purchase a 520$ new front c5 bumper. Certifit doesnt make the c5 front bumpers anymore theres one local that had them priced at 377$ but theyre discontinued. I see 98-02 camaro bumpers new with more design then c5 corvette bumpers are 230$ on ebay new it must be the corvette mark up.
Now the paint isnt too bad i just waxed it but the front bumper has some spider webs and i had bondo repaired a crack by the front drivers side marker light and right under the drivers side headlight you can see some paint imperfections. Its possible as new bumper is 520$ + expensive shipping corvette mark up that i just use this wolf bra permanently for the black or red look no? It attaches by 3 hooks on top 3 hooks on bottom. and velcro i think under headlight area and around inside of front fenders. I got it for a good deal a corvetteforum member gave it to me if i paid shipping which was 15 bucks bra is in great shape just need to by the opposite velcro attachment tape which is maybe 10$ a roll of the hook side velcro from amazon and cut it in sections to match the bras velro attachment areas.
Anyone have a wold bra or pictures of it or any bra pictures i think colgan c5 bra on ebay looks the best.? So its safe to leave on year round and drive thru rain without removing it let it dry out the front bumpers the worst part of my car in terms of paint. I attached photos. Anyones camaro transam or corvette bra pictures. The novi stretch bra looks cheap and see thru.
Know where to get the black leather looking c5 mirror bras that would make the mirrors look black and does anyone have them or pics of them?

Absolutely NOT saying a bra can be used without damage. I would never use a bra on any car I cared about the paint. Bra's are very good at causing damage, especially over time. Bra's are good for hiding damage and otherwise pretty worthless from what I've seen over the years.
I'd skip the cost of the bra and use the funds toward a repair/repaint of nose when needed. Then after the nosexis how you want it, I'd use the 3M Scotchgar clear protective film or similar that's so popular.
YMMV

Expensive film was put on my C6 when the car was new back in 2009 by the dealership owner. While it did it's job while in my possession for the most part, the constant comments at the car shows/cruises I attended was, "How did you get that scratch?" Whether the mirror area or the fender area or the front nose, wherever the film met the paint looked like a slight scratch. Waxing, whether paste, liquid, or spray, left the edges of the film 'noticeable'. I did everything to make it blend, from alcohol to degreasers, but it was no use. I will never use anything on any car again. Time (too much of it) and money wasted.
I will re-paint or repair any damage before spending $$$ on either one again. That's my experience anyway.
I have nothing on my 3 rides now and I'm as pleased as possible. Naked is good!!
Paint on hood was scuffed by a quality bra.
Protective film on front was mistaken for scratches when looking close.
No bras, no film, just naked fronts. I like it.
