Anyone have a Firehawk w/Trans Am spoiler? (red preferably) Pics?
Thinking of putting a Trans Am spoiler on a Firehawk and wanted to see if anyone has done this and if so, could you post some pics? Id like to see it in red if possible, but anything will work. By the way, does the entire hatch have to be replaced? Thanks.

Hmmm.. Not to be rude, but what are you talking about?
The Trans Am spoiler allready comes on the Firehawk. The only other SLP upgrade on the spoiler is the inspired "Iroc" spoiler.
Do you not have a spoiler on your Hawk? or is it a Formula Hawk?

I think what he's talking about is the lower deck spoiler that was an option on the Firehawks. Some even had a different option for a third brake light (it extended the entire width of the spoiler, much like a cadillac escalade third brake light). These cars are rare that have this spoiler....I personally would like to see pics of your car BlackBeast.

I agree. If you indeed have a Firehawk spoiler, why would you want to get rid of it?? Doing that would ruin the mystique of having a Firehawk in my opinion...
Got pics?

(Assuming we're talking about LS1's...) I'm confused. If it's a T/A Firehawk, it already looks just like any other T/A from the rear. If it's a Formula Firehawk, it's going to take a whole new hatch. If it's a T/A Firehawk with an optional spoiler, and you want to get rid of the unique look, it will look just like the majority of Firehawks and all other T/A's

Sorry guys, Ive got a Camaro. This is for my buddy and he doesnt have any pics. His car is actually a Firebird Firewawk, so it doesnt have the Trans Am spoiler. He wants to keep the Firebird front end, but wants a Trans Am spoiler. He even thought about doing the ground effects as well, but I told him to hold off on that and see what the spoiler alone would look like. He doesnt have any optional spoiler, just the regular one. From the looks of it, it seems to be one whole piece. Does the entire hatch have to be replaced to have a Trans Am spoiler? This is my friends deal, not mine. He's been talking about getting a Trans Am spoiler for who knows how long and he wanted to see if anyone has done this. Thanks.

What absolut said is absolutely correct. If you have a Formula Firehawk then yes, you will need an entirely hatch since the Firebird hatch has the spoiler molded into the hatch. Personally I don't think a spoiler alone will look that good. What gives the TA its look in the rear is the combo of the spoiler and rear fascia. Anyone photochop this? For ground effects, tell him to consider the W68 package or even the Wings West kit. The front air dam on the WW looks great on a Firebird front fascia.

This is my freind's deal. He's been set on doing this and I figured it would help a little if I posted about it. He wanted to converter the entire car to a Trans Am Firehawk, but I told him that would be too big of a hassle and would cost a lot of money. He wants to keep the front end, but wants the Trans Am spoiler minus the rear fascia. He says he might do the ground effects later, but wants the spoiler for now.
