Default Residue left when taking off side trim and trans am logo

I took off the trans am logos and trim off the side of my car today and there's still a little residue left even after going over it with goo off (gone... whatever). Any tips?

I used WD-40 and then used my Menzerna Intensive and Final polishes with my PC 7424...you can't even tell it was there.

You can also use an auto body prep solvent...such as "shine on," etc...

Another vote for WD-40.... Works really well for almost all types of adhesive.

Bad body job from when the prior owner owned it. I got it from a dealer and they said it was just bumped in the front end. Oh well not worried about it frame's straight that's all I care about everything else can be fixed.

Here's some pics in better light still haven't done the other side with WD-40 so it still has residue but here's the drivers side.

the NXT/ColorX is holding up pretty well too considering it was one coat of each on saturday. Still gonna go Zaino in the end
