Default The axle is detailed, may be the one of the nicest looking stock 10 bolts, Pics-->>

Basically, Everything from the Axle to the bumper is detailed. It was a little tougher than I planned, but what is new, lol. I am pleased with the results.

Here is a list of details that I did.
-Sanded the Axle by hand and rolled the paint on it. A POR type paint form Eastwood.
-Removed all the diff cover bolts and replaced them with polished stainless ones, I polished them.
-Polished the swaybar brackets, "U" hooks (bought stainless ones), all the sleeves were polished were the urethane bushings are located.
-Polished the metal top part of the differential & the emergency brake brackets.
-Polished the exhaust hooks.
-Re-polished the entire exhaust.
-Cleaned everything, all the bushings, springs, you name it.

I really enjoy doing this. Next is the center section of the car then the engine.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Polished the brackets and clear coated them...

Polished all these parts...The pic looks yellow from the light but are chrome looking...

The metal part on top of the diff, polished...

Took apart and cleaned the red bushings & polished the separators...

Polished bolts, painted axle...

Another angle, also replaced the shock bolts with polished stainless ones....

All together...

You be the crazyiest Camaro Owner I know.

Looks sweet man. You need to drive that car more man. Very few of our F-bodies are going to be worth anything someday. I guess you enjoy this kind of stuff and without a doubt you clean up at every car show you go too.

I wished you lived closer so I could talk you into polishing some parts for me!

I am not a polish fan but nice! I just don't understand why on a stock 10bolt! I have mine powercoated and a 3stage metalic sliver cover! Butthat is a Moser 12" with all toys on it!

No you should get a 12 and coat it and polish the cover then send it to be laser cut to say what ever and then coat it a candy! Polished and candy coats are sweet! Comes out looking realy deep!

Ok Todd... you need to just stop!!!
That car is just going to vanish one day. Everything is going to be SOOOO shiny that light is just going to bend around it. Home made cloaking device.
That car is just too beautiful to drive now.

Thanks as always for the nice remarks.

2FAST4U...I mostly am a dyno queen so this will do. When the time comes and it breaks I will look into a 12 bolt, mean time I will make it look as nice as I can. I want to keep it black so it does not take away from the polished exhaust. Next year maybe another theme who knows, it depends on what the wife will let me do, lol.

You're the ******* man Todd, but I still think you should have polished the cover. It looks like it has some lumpiness to it!

A little, it is thick paint, lol. I may some day buy a cover.

You are right, I did wipe each down after this pick was taken...see I do drive my car a little. I was thinking of replacing all the plastic wire covers but they are in pretty good shape still. The top of the diff was a real pain to paint.

To make everything look great it needs replaced or refinished, it is a lot of detail work. My shocks are ugly, not sure what direction I am going with them, lol, newer ones are on the way from a friend who took his off. It is endless.

Thanks for giving me energy with all you kind words, it makes it more fun and enjoyable to do.

The internet, who would of thought there was a forum where everyone has basically the same interests.
