Default Passenger Side Wire Mod -->Done! Got Pics

Don't see many LT1 guys doing the mod. Wasn't bad. Had to spice a couple of lines, Nothing serious.

Are you talking about the passenger window "auto down" mod?

No this is the passenger side wiring mod in the engine bay, hense the picture? LOL.

Yea I sold my red powder coated one and bought the polished one. Not good enough at it to do big parts yet.

so where'd ya put the wiring harness? Along the side of the inner fender? Did you have to splice in extra wire to make it around there?

And did you polish your alternator or buy it that way?

Yes along side the inner fender. Only spliced the abs sensor because I couldnt get to the plug. There is plenty of slack to get everything through, no problem.

Bought my alternator through www.mralternator.com. I wouldnt recommend them though. The alternator is great and they fixed the problems. But it took about 3 months to get it. Only costs about $200 though (compared to powermasters $400).

Sounds like a good mod for me to do. Only thing that concerns me is putting the wiring down close to the exhaust heat.

That $200 price doesn't sound bad considering what you're getting. It's a 140-amper isn't it?

Actually it goes under the fender, between the fender and the plastic piece that keeps dirt out!

Correct!

The price was right on the alternator and they were really nice guys. But there Chromer is slow as hell. (alternator)
