Default Anniversary stripes on a non-anniversary WS6

What are your opinions on putting anniversary stripes on a regular white WS6? Do you think that it is wrong to put them on since the car isn't a true anniversary edition?

I was thinking about putting them on my white WS6 but it's a 98...I don't want to come off as trying to fake it or something like that. What do you guys think?

I have a white 98 too in vert and have been pondering the same thing. I am almost to the point of getting them and the PACE CAR decals. I say put them on and if anyone knows their F-Body's well enough to call you on it, then you can shake their hand with a big smile and say "Damn you're good! Now there are two of us that can laugh at the joke..."

Of course you might not want to listen to me. I am also pondering how the 35th Ann. Camaro Rally Stripes would look on it too. LOL

Why not? I say go for it. It's your car. Who cares what anyone else thinks as long as YOU like it!

That's what I thought. Still, I just don't want to look like a wannabe anniversary edition lol.

Anyone know where to get these stripes?

I'd try Stencils & Stripes or Phoenix Graphix

Does that mean it bugs you cause they have the stripes and the rims or because they are purposely trying to pass it off as a 30th? I was about to post that he should try and get some rims as well cause they look sweet on the WS6s!!

I thought about running some 30th stripes. My car is a 99 but it's Navy blue and not white, some silver metallic stripes would look nice though, and those 35th SS stripe knock off's for the TA's look pretty bad *** too. By the way anyone know where you can get those?

You know what, I actually really like the RamAir Style Stripes on this page: http://www.autografics.com/pages/birds4.htm

Anyone have any pics of t/a's with these stripes? If so please post them
