Thumbs up RKSport Carbon Fiber Door Sills

An excellent $150 mod if I do say so myself.

I have them too and get a ton of compliments...although I have the CF dash kit too and it ties it all together.

I like them. Do they have them with Firebird/Trans-AM logos?

No, but they do make them plain without logos, then you can get some custom made from Teri or BFranker if you'd like......

Your factory ones will pop off. They have clips that hold them on. The RK sport ones like I have are taped on with double sided 3m tape.

I've always liked those, but I just can't manage to shell out the cash for them.

yeah definitely going to be taking care of the car this weekend. Just moved and settling in so haven't had time to worry about the car.

haha yeesh guys, the point of the thread was the door sills, not the condition of the interior of my car. I plan on entirely replacing all of the interior carpeting with a better quality black carpet, and at that point I'll take care of the floor matts too to go with the scheme.

Should have saved the money and painted the door jambs........ But that's just what I would do.

Gee, and to think RK Sport pulled their sponsorship of this site after only 3 months, claiming that there wasn't any market here for their products

haha yeah definitely hit that on the spot, it's just dirty. It was literally about 20 degrees out when I went and put them in (I was stubborn and did this around midnight instead of waiting until the afternoon when it might be a lil warmer..) so I did spray some degreaser onto where the piece goes and wiped it off there, but yeah I was lazy and cold so I didn't do the rest of the door jam.. if I would've known I would've gotten so many comments about it, I sure would've taken care of it. When I clean the car this weekend (hopefully, weather permitting) I'll post some pics so there! :p

At RKSport.com they're $225.95, http://www.rksport.com/product/p_01041042/view_detail, but I got them on ebay for $150 shipped. RKSport has a "garage sale" account on ebay, as most might already know, and they had started the auction at $75, I emailed them asked if I could buy-it-now for $150, they said sure and they'd pay S&H for that.. makes me wonder if I should've said $100 or $125 first haha. There is a slight wrinkle in the "O" on the driver side, but they touched it up with paint it looks like, and truthfully I don't notice unless you look like a foot away from it.

I love to get in and out of my car now, everytime I see the door sill I think and have to supress my urges.
