Now that the rear undercarriage is complete it is time to move to the top of the motor. Just sharing polishing, pics...Don't be too bored with them, lol, you probably seen them before.

I was disapointed with the "polished look of my new catch can" and re-polished it...

Before...It was a pain to polish because it had a coating on it...

After...

Re-polished the Tensioner...

Re-polished the TB...

Re-polished the MAF Ends...

Re-polished the AC canister...

Looks good Todd I'll just have work harder.

I was wondering how long it would take to get stock parts to look like that.

Thumbs up

Todd, Everything looks great, do you recharge your AC system each time you remove the AC canister for polishing? BTW, Did Santa bring you a lift yet, you know you deserve it.

Good question. Part of the plumbing from an AC line rubbed on my ATI crank pulley and caused a leak discharging the system. I was parked at a car gathering and someone pointed it out to me. I decided to leave it that way so I could polish it often, then bought a new hose. Just an fyi it is a one piece hose that connects to the compressor = about 200 bucks Around here summers are mid 70's and and not humid like in the midwest.

Bring them on up! I have to watch what I say, I could have a local line up at my house. Polishing mine is enough.

Thanks everyone for putting up with my illness.

It is a catch can for my supercharger. With my car bosted up and tuned it sucks oil in my intake, this will "Catch it" as it un pressurizes the block.

I just do not have time to polish for money. I have done a few things for folks, but for free. I just do not want to make a hobby turn into work. I have taught people at my house.

That is amazing. What do you do to clean the engine? I know most use the simply green or something like that. Do you use any engine bay cleaner or do you do it all by hand? Forgive my ignorance. Ive never cleaned an engine bay, but would like to clean some things up while Im in there next.
I dont think I have the patience to polish things like you, but that is absolutely beautiful . Nice work
