Here are pics of the project so far. I am not not pleased with the finish on the shaker, I have much to learn about paint. I will likely widen the hood cut-out a bit. I shrunk it from what I had on my spare hood, but I don't think it looks wide enough.

I am thinking of getting somthing written on the shaker's side, maybe 350 LS1?

The pics are too small to see. The first one is 5.7KB. You can post up to 100KB in size. The dimensions do not matter, only the size in KB.

It does seem a little low in the hood. Can you raise it more?

Gay and the show was gay, let me geuss your going to add all the buttons inside the car. But your going to make them all work to justify the gay tackyness...

Mod note: This post is absolutely pointless and IMO is only intended to start a confrontation. If you don't have anything constructive to add, then move on to another thread...let's stay on track. Thanks.

A bit, once I find a STB. The rubber seal around the shaker is pretty think and pushes away from the hood. I need pressure from below. The pics don't do it justice, it looks high enough for me in real life.

While I'm able to post, I'd like to say that's a nice rendition of the T/A shaker hood. Sorry I won't be able to chat you guys much more.

A mod has removed those offensive remarks. I'm just going to remove any of my remarks to it and forget what that guy said. LastKnight, you can do the same. No need to get yourself in trouble over what he said.

I saw the Advanced Designs front end on the black LT1 car. That is awesome! Maybe if your car was black it would look more Knightriderish. Not that red is a bad color, but seems odd for a Knightrider themed car.

Have you considered that Banshee looking paint job?

I don't know.

Just keep doing what your doing.

I was just screwing around with the cowl induction idea on a TA hood. See what you think.

Has anyone just bolted a scoop onto it?!

I'm thinking of making a simple scoop looking thing that is not functional in front and then have a functional heat extractor in the back. Mold in it or not, it should still look pretty good.

Raleigh TA, how's your shaker coming along?

The whole shaker hood idea would be neat.... and what would be even better is of a new cowl piece was made to go along with it.... that was clearanced for something like the edlebrock intake, and say a 4150 style carb TB on top of it, and enough room for an air filter, or at least a small screen to keep big stuff out...... that would make for a worth while design.

No one is really driving carburated 4th gens. In fact, it's kind of illegal.

I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to make a shaker like that though. K&N offers all kinds of styles and sizes of filters, you would just need a baseplate and the shaker scoop and then just cut and bond them together.

Not actually running a carb, running the edlebrock/GMPP carb style intake. Still using fuel injection.... besides, I dont' knwo what kind of testign you have, but with plug in only testing, I think anything can pass.

Knight Rider is corny and very very TACKY please keep that off nice 4th gens.

A 4th Gen night rider would be the Def of Rice, it has One Billion buttons that do nothing, its not fuctional and hilly billys think its cool
