Default i need help! please read!!

ok i have a 02 SS, and my scoop has the black sticker on the inner part of the scoop. yall know what im talking about right? some SS's are painted on that part of the hood, but some have that black sticker. allright so i went outside to go to the store and i noticed some oil on my hood. naturally i went to go wash it, even though its like 35 outside. as i was rinsing it, i noticed something on my hood, there was something on that black sticker. i tried taking it off with the pressure hose, and holy ****!!! a piece of the sticker came off!!!!!!!!!!! man i almost ! so now i have to fix this fast. has this happend to anyone?? does anyone know how much this should cost?????? please reply!

i haven't heard of that area coming painted from the factory. my 35th le which has it from the factory, is a sticker also. infact i believe the only factory SS's to have that area filled in are the 35th le's and GMMG cars (Berger, ZL1's, etc).

You should be able to carefully heat it up with a heat gun or hair dryer and peel it off...
