Default First Time Using Zaino

The hubby and I broke open our Zaino starter kit around 9 a.m. today. All was going well until I sliced the **** outta my pinkie finger (right across my knuckle) on one of the Borla exhaust tips! Got the bleeding to finally stop...my resident Dr. got it all bandaged up...took four Ibuprofen...and now we're back at it. However, I will not go near the lower back end of the car for the rest of the day!!

I am anxious to see how the car turns out!

We are in NW Houston, Hwy 6 N & FM 529 (Copperfield). Yes, we are coming to the photo shoot, hence the need for the Zaino! See you there Teri!

After 7 hours of hard labor, we finally finished our first, complete Zaino project! Whew!! The results speak for themselves...well worth all of the effort and hard work. We got so tired we didn't have enough energy to dress the tires. That'll be tomorrow's project -- LOL.

very nice, deep and rich shine!!!

I was going to order some supplies tonight, but had a major problem.

See https://ls1tech.com/forums/gears-axles/314812-pinion-seal-replaced-dealer-kaboom.html for details.

I can appreciate the work it takes to get a dark car to shine like that. Good job!!!

Are those C6 rims? Where did you get them? And what size are they?

I do like Zaino...A LOT...But I'm just not digging it much anymore on black cars...I've used it for almost three years now on my black '02 Z28 and while the shine is really cool, it is just too bright and glassy looking IMO...So once I finish using what's left of my Z5, I'm probably going to go with a good Carnauba for the more wet, deep tone I'm looking for out of my dark colored Camaro...And I'm not worried about durability since the car only comes out in nice weather, LOL.

But you can't argue with the results and especially the durability of Zaino...I can't wait to try the new Z2PRO on my '95 Polo Green Z28 and I've heard some great things about the new Z8 product that I'll have to order shortly...

Looks very good BTW,

Mike

I can confirm the great things about the new Z8. I tried it out at a show last weekend and it left the car looking superb. My buddy made a great analogy when I was telling him about it......"It's like Z6 on steroids"
