Dan,

Sorry it came to this for you. I know your frustration and was hoping Jantzer
had worked it out by now. Let me know if the black ones come in.

Thanks
Bryan Fletcher

Makes me happy that I got a bauer TB instead of a Jantzer.

That sucks man, I feel sorry for you.

This is powder coated right? I have a friend that does powder coating very inexpensively and what he does to keep this from happening is bake the part several times to get the oil out of it. Even then it may still bubble up. If they are brand new parts it is less likely to occur. But a part that is impregnated with oil is extremely difficult to keep from bubbling.

I can sympathize with whoever did the work, but they should also offer some money back since it is on the quality of work expected.

My TB came out great. There wasn't a single problem with the finish in the coat.

I'm having some trouble with Jantzer too. He told me he can have my calipers done in two weeks. It's now been two months. I don't even want to know what they're going to look like after seeing this thread.

I will never do business with Jantzer again! He took his precious time to ship me a PHR I bought from him. What should have taken less than a week took over a month! He kept giving me the runaround every time I tried to contact him. And also when I FINALLY got it in, it didn't fit right. Its like the rod ends were 1/2 the thickness they should have been. If they were supposed to be like that, he didn't send the proper mounting hardware. Hell- he didn't even send ANY hardware. Which would have been fine except the stock bolts would not work on the rod ends of the PHR he sent me

That does look like shat. That being said, my old TB was top notch from him though. I hope you get this resolved.

What a b*tch, there are far too many bad products coming from this person for there not to be a kruize to his house to jack him up. Alot of people are getting or have gotten shitty service mostly and some shitty products. That sucks for everyone.

Jesus. $245?! I do powdercoating as well, and I know that the "chrome" powder is especially hard to keep from bubbling. However, for $245 that should not be an issue, and perfection should be expected! I preheat all the things I am going to coat and then clean them off with brake cleaner and heat them up again before I apply the powder. I just finished a set of valve covers in NBM, which required me to mix and experiment with 4 different powders, and still I only charged a fraction of $245! That is complete BS and for that price nothing less than perfect should be expected!

Good to see someone who does powdercoating say something.

If anyone needs something powerdercoated in Michigan PM me and I can get you info on a friend of mine that does a good inexpensive work. He can do small parts or entire vehicle frames.
