Make your own. After mine faded, I busted out the buffer, some 3M fine cut compound, and some Meguiar's #9 plastic polish (I believe). Buff the existing stuff off, the polish it out to get any marks out, and you're good to go.

you can make your own or you can buy one from a guy on here. goes by PONTIACFAN. if u pm him he can give you the specs. if you take yours off and mail it to him with 25 dollars he can prob have it back within 5 days. from some pics i have seen it looks like his work is top notch

Thanks ZeeMan!
Yes, I do these things all the time.
However, recently all the old used up ones have been going for ridiculously high prices! So I can't afford to buy them & rework them & not lose money.
But ZeeMan is right, I will wet-sand & polish & bring them back to a beautiful lustre if you send it to me! (For a small charge of course! But materials don't come to me free of charge, so there has to be some funds involved.)
I simply started doing it for other F-body people that didn't have the materials, tools, time, etc., & have lost count as to how many have gone thru here! I'd have to say at least over over 50+.
I also share the info if you wish to do it yourself, ...
Start with nail polsih remover to remove leftover red/pink paint.
Move on to 1200 grit wet-sandpaper, keeping it wet during sanding to flush contaminants. Go to 2000 grit when all the markings are gone. I use a small 1/4 sheet sander for the 1200, & do the 2000 by hand.
I then use Zaino's Glass Polish with an old Black & Decker polishing machine to bring it back to a smooth finish, & follow-up with Zaino's Plastic Polish to give it a really nice shine. (The glass polish has a bit more 'substance' to it & will bring it back quickly, but will not be able to 'finish' it properly.)
I've tried other plastic polishes from the local stores, but nothing has compared to the finishing of the Zaino.
Of course, all of the notes above about the products are my opinion, ...
Damn, there goes more business again, telling someone else how to do it, ...

Just to clarify: there is no way I know of to actually purchase a blank rear panel from GM, the only way people get them is by removing the logo from one themselves. (I have GM parts numbers for the different logo styles of rear panels available, if you're interested.)

Thanks, ...
I should have just kept my smartass comments to myself, ...
Anyway, They were actually available clean with no bird & no text on the 4th gen Formula's. Not sure which years, I think somewhere around the 95-97's. And I think that may have been what started this craze!

Just got a used one in the mail today for rework.
GM number 16516876, must be one of those original clean 'no-bird, no-text' ones from the early Formula's as it has no bird or text!
But man, does it ever need a good polishin', ...
It'll look better than new in a few hours!
