Yea it will utilize the T-Top latches, look over the weekend if everything goes well I will have a DETAILED thread, and tons of pics of the process...Hell I would be willing to help other people that want the mod, for the right price...

Ya since then I've done research, planned, and engineered everything...I'm just willin to actually help, and do the mod for people unlike someone esle that's Targa Topped...

who else is targa top? I only new of one guy that has it but that cars totalled now.

Looks very nice. Are you repainting the outside of the car or did you just paint the engine bay black to do it?


Depending on what that price is, you're only in Illinois. Not too far away. A targa top conversion would be something I'd be interested in depending on pricing.

There's a guy on CamaroZ28 named Whistler that has it done, he was the first, but never really wanted to leak any tips, or anything so he would be more rare I believe, I have heard of him talkin to a few people, but I had no luck the 80 times I tried to contact him for info on it...I even offered money...

Yes I will be respraying the whole car, after I get this finished, then I will finish fiberglassing that dash this week, and sand all the interior panels down, and hit them with a few coats of DuraTech (High Build Primer) then shoot basecoat/clearcoat on them. After that I will move onto the doors, and get them set up, as I am shaving my antenna, and door handles. Then I will focus on gettin the motor and what not in, then I plan on repainting the car this winter...

yeah i never knew about that guy. We did one for a close friend but the car ended up getting totalled a few years back and that was the only one i had know about till now.
