So I've observed...

That theres not much of anything cosmetic you can do to the Mystic colored cars really...if there is, I haven't seen anything. (I mean, you can't really stripe them like you could a white car with blue, etc)

No point other than that. Carry on.

Picture of a Mystic?

SlowBlueFormula Jun 2, 2005 10:27 PM

Yanno...that blue-green chameleon-y lookin paint?

That stuff. Apparently it's called mystic teal.

(wonder where i put the pics of mine...Theres a few in one of my last posts I think)

Edit:
Here....I'm gonna try and get better pics. this just makes it look kinda blue-green. In the right light you can get purple, blue, or damn near emerald green out of it.

And therein lies the problem.

I'm not a big fan of chrome wheels, (and probably too unmotivated to constantly clean polished ones)...and everyone and their grandmother's putting ZR1s (painted or otherwise) on their birds.

As far as hood goes...I'm probably just going to use an RA1.

Yeah. It's factory. I like it, I just can't figure out what to do with it that I havent seen a bunch of.

Saad06 Jun 2, 2005 11:12 PM

here are my ideas to pimp that hoe

get some fiske FM10's
drop 2 inches
2 white stripes on hood and hatch.
tine
honeycomb tails

it'll look just fine.

Blue Falcon Jun 2, 2005 11:14 PM

Silver looks good on there, I've got a friend with a 97Z and it looks really good insilver

resurrectedz28 Jun 2, 2005 11:25 PM

Yeah, i would think if you really wanted a stripe i would go silver or some kind of grey metallic, white might stand out a little much, but it might also fit, dunno i would have to see it to be sure.

SlowBlueFormula Jun 2, 2005 11:38 PM

yeah...silver's been about my only thought for highlighting so far.
Drop & tint will be taken care of sooner than later...then some go-faster parts before I worry more about wheels.

Saad06 Jun 2, 2005 11:47 PM

well you posted about cosmetic.. so i gave you my cosmetic oppinions

SlowBlueFormula Jun 2, 2005 11:51 PM

'preciate it too. :)

btw---where should I look for the LS1 tails... I've only seen like one set on here for sale, and our junk yards don't exactly have Ls1s arriving daily.

Snow Dog Jun 3, 2005 08:59 PM

well silver ghost flames or gold ghost flames would look good, but thats a lot more expensive than vinyl graphics. ghost stripes would be cool too

- chrome wheels are a must have with that color, it really sets if off. *few pics attached*

- eibach kit or something similar to lower it.

- honeycomb tails would be nice a nice upgrade.

- get some overlays for the front bird, and trans am emblems in the same color as striping

Yeah me three, I think silver would look a ton better than white. That car would hard to get looking pimp, some polished 17s, a ram air hood and a slight drop, car would look pimp. Its not a bad looking car from the factory, so it doesnt take much to make them really look good.

CONVERTED Jun 5, 2005 11:25 AM

you could convert to a 98 and then you'd have some options with a ram air hood.......... I just did it and it looks amazing....... This color looks pretty sweet on the 98+.

As for what you could do that color has issues with others... I'd get new wheels 18's look great, a ram air hood maybe acsent your grills and badging white????
