painted calipers for my car-what color?
this post is simular to one made earlier, but i'd like some opinions on what color i should paint my calipers....
my original plan was to do red, but after looking at my car and thinking about it, i think red might be alil too drastic with my color scheme...i was thinking about either painting them black, or silver...maybe even a blue color...what do you think? pic below for idea's
thanks
Jon

Nice car man! Looks awesome! Black cal, silver brkts. I'm getting mine painted now red, but I have red bow ties on the wheels. I don't think red would go well with your car.

what 2k2ws6ta said
if you want them to be noticable, then do silver, if you want them to still look sweet, but blend in a little better, go with black - red in my opinion would be too flashy and somewhat misplaced on your silver car

I just painted my calipers using the G2 paint kit (can be found all over the net, just do a search). Many say to save the money and just use high temp engine paint from the auto store, but I bought the G2 kit for 35 bucks shipped. It seems to have worked really well though. Almost like a two part epoxy paint, put it on with a brush. It left brush marks for a few seconds and then it filled itself in. I was really happy with my results and I didn't have to worry about overspray.
