Default painted calipers for my car-what color?

this post is simular to one made earlier, but i'd like some opinions on what color i should paint my calipers....

my original plan was to do red, but after looking at my car and thinking about it, i think red might be alil too drastic with my color scheme...i was thinking about either painting them black, or silver...maybe even a blue color...what do you think? pic below for idea's

thanks
Jon

I think matching the color of your car would look great. So I say silver

Ditto. I personally dont like red calipers (unless you have a red car). I always think silver or black look best.

I say red. Goes good on all colors. I'm partial though.

BTW, lower that ****!

I polished my calipers and painted the brackets black. That looks pretty good too. Just a suggestion.

I think the black calipers will blend in with the wheels more, and make tham less noticable (if that's what you're looking for) but silver on the calipers give them a little more visual pop, contrasted with the black bracket and black wheels. It depends what you want to do, notice the calipers or the bracket.

Nice car man! Looks awesome! Black cal, silver brkts. I'm getting mine painted now red, but I have red bow ties on the wheels. I don't think red would go well with your car.

I definately think silver calipers with black decals on them. It'll help give you wheels more depth.

what 2k2ws6ta said
if you want them to be noticable, then do silver, if you want them to still look sweet, but blend in a little better, go with black - red in my opinion would be too flashy and somewhat misplaced on your silver car

Yup, I know what you mean about the polishing. Looks great, but a PITA for maintenance. As for the paint, I hate myself for recommending the place (Which, surprisingly, I have done three times this week), but Pep Boys has your basic colors (black, Silver, Aluminum, Red, Yellow...) in spray cans as "Hi Temp brake caliper paint".

You can't go wrong with black. Silver would be interesting especially with the contrast with your black wheels. I say go for the silver.

I just painted my calipers using the G2 paint kit (can be found all over the net, just do a search). Many say to save the money and just use high temp engine paint from the auto store, but I bought the G2 kit for 35 bucks shipped. It seems to have worked really well though. Almost like a two part epoxy paint, put it on with a brush. It left brush marks for a few seconds and then it filled itself in. I was really happy with my results and I didn't have to worry about overspray.

I did black calipers and silver brackets on a pewter car, looks good. Close to silver.
