New Sunoco Hood on HotRod Magazine Camaro
Since I'm already seeing pics of Dad's HotRod Camaro showing up in 2005 Power Tour picture galleries I thought I should post up some pics of his recent changes to the car.
Dad thought that the stock Z28 hood and spoiler that came on the car looked a little too plain for a car with so much attitude, so he added a Sunoco/Dick Harrell Hood and GM SS spoiler just before heading out on the HotRod Power Tour. He was #4 on the list to get one of these new VFN hoods and had it painted just 2 weeks ago. He is very happy with the finished product and I think it looks much meaner now that it did before.
I have only seen it in person once when we met for a local car show where I snapped a few pics. They are unfortunately not very good as I was facing the sun but you get the idea.
The quality of the hood is very good and it definately feels lighter than the origional steel Z28 hood. There is a nice screen in the back of the hood scoop near the cowl area that you could see the engine heat pouring out of when we arrived at the car show. So it should offer some increased engine cooling benefit over a stock hood.
There are some more pics in my sig link below on page 9.

I wonder how it is to drive that in the cold, does the heat fog up the windshield?
