Default need some ideas

I have done some dressing up on the engine bay but my air lid didn't match. It kind of stuck out so I decided to paint it. I got some paint that I thought would match the stripes on my hood but it was too light. Here are some pics of my lid before and after. Do you all think I should repaint it or is anything I might be able to do to tie it in. The bird on the lid is temporary I had it sitting here so I just slapped it on.

It's hard to tell with the lighting differences, but I think it looks pretty damn good from what I can see. Definitely an improvement over the before pic. Me likey, I'd keep it, but it's your car...

Well my stripes are darker but I do like this color. The problem I have is it doesn't blend in with the rest of my engine bay. I'm thinking of just getting a carbon fiber one and calling it a day. Maybe some red decals could help?

Fuel rail covers are carbon fiber, painting them would defeat the point of having them.

FYI the lettering on the fuel rail covers are reflective red decals
