Washing my engine bay area ??

Default Washing my engine bay area ??

Im thinking of washing my engine bay just power washing it any tips on what to cover so nothing will get damaged?......

Just Dont Spray Directly On To Any Of The Electrical System And You Should Be Ok...

I usually put some Saran Wrap or something like that around the PCM, and fuse boxes. You should be able to spray everything else.

I use a can of gunk engine cleaner. Use the directions and common sence and you should be ok.

Before I begin any type of washing on the engine bay I like to coat the engine with some WD-40. This is especially crucial on the electrical components. After washing dry with a leaf blower if possible or a hand towel. I then spray more WD-40 on the alternator and the electrical components to disperse the water just before starting the car.
