Need everyone's opinion on 2 things!
 

Okay first of all I have a Black 98 SS Convertible. It has black and tan interior, the dash and console are black, the front half of the door panels are black, the roof is black and the speaker grills are black, everything else is tan. (The rug, seats, all panels in the back etc) But I'm thinking about getting the seats reupholstered in black with tan in the middle does anyone think this would look better?

And the other thing is I was wanting to get the stinger painted and that stripe on the spoiler painted grey like the Dale Earnhart Car. But I'm wondering how the grey will fit in since I have tan and black interior. It has red SS badges, polished calipers, iForged Evolutions. What's everyone think?

I like the seat design idea. Not sure on grey stripes, but what about the neutral interiol color for the stripes?

Pics would definitely help us to get a feel of the overall look of the car. I have an '02 S-10 Xtreme that I use as a daily driver and it is Indigo Blue Metallic with a beige interior. I wanted to add the silver stripe kit to it, but I was hesitant about how the silver stripes would go with the beige interior...most people I talked to said it would look fine, but I could never get over the "clash" of colors, so I scrapped the idea...

Do you mean like how some vette seats are red and black, the beige and black would look pretty nice if thats what you are talking about. Probably better if more of the interior was black though.

Yeah thats the seat idea I was talking about. I've been thinking on the grey stinger and I think it would look good if I got the one to go on the spoiler also. Not sure tho, just was opinions.

This weekend, after I got back from the track, I decided to shampoo my carpets while the seat was out. I didnt' feel like cleaning the dirty floor mats, so I decided to get some new ones. I got these black "Cheverlet Racing" mats, and I think they look good. It changes the look of the interior a lot, and pretty cheap too.

And I think your idea about the seats would look awesome too. I'd like to see that.

i like the seat idea. i also like look of the stripe but i dunno how it would look on ur car. try posting a request in the photoshop thread, they ma be able to give u an idea of how it would look

I think the seats would look better being mostly beige with a black insert. it would flow better with the carpet and door panels.

My interior looks identical to that. I don't think the beige on the outside and black in the middle will look as good as if they were all beige. I think black on the outside and beige on the inside will go good.
