More FRC's on fire I did my first actual non-practice project today. Just thought I'd share. Sorry if you guys are sick of this stuff. (I'm such a pyro!) http://members.cox.net/chulse/JimFRC1.jpg http://members.cox.net/chulse/JimFRC2.jpg http://members.cox.net/chulse/JimFRC3.jpg http://members.cox.net/chulse/JimFRC4.jpg http://members.cox.net/chulse/JimFRC5.jpg |
Damn, those look sweet man |
how much? |
I think the flames look really nice, I just think there needs to be something setting off the Covette lettering and raised lines with the 5.7 emblem. fThey're a little to hard to see right now I think. But still very nice. |
I dont mean to be an a** or anything, its a nice job... The paintjob/pre-job underneith the flames is kinda catching my eye, may just be the light or something reflecting, not sure... I really like the flames though:) Good work. |
Thanks guys.

Not bad, I would have sanded them down before painting them though, i dont like the grainy look. |
I think they look freaking awesome! |
Thanks guys. After some thought, I think I am going to go ahead and ghost the CORVETTE and 5.7L lettering. I didn't originally because I thought it may take away from the flames, but now I think it would probably compliment them. Brian2006- I only charged the guy for materials. I'm making no money at it currently. |
wanna make me a set? |
Well I decided to go ahead and spray the lettering. It took longer than I expected and I had some very good learning experiences in the process (I almost thought I was going to have to redo them from scratch at one point :( ) But it ended up turning out pretty good. So here are the final pics: http://members.cox.net/chulse/JimFRC6.jpg http://members.cox.net/chulse/JimFRC7.jpg http://members.cox.net/chulse/JimFRC8.jpg |
Damn those look amazing!! |
Looks better with the lettering painted. Brett has mine as I type :D |
Those are REALLY SWEET!!! HOw much to do my LT1 Intake, and SLP CAI, and Valve Covers? |
looks like tits, are u gonna do/done your intake manifold? i wonder how all 3 would look together. |
Looks good chad :eek2: , corvette letters look better with the red and not so much more like it was an afterthought like it was without the color. Are you shooting your own clear? What clear and gun are you using to shoot? |
Those look great! The red lettering just sets it off. How much for a set just like that??? |
On the first pics I wasnt that blown away but with your latest updates I think it looks really good. Nice job man. |

this is not competition for sponsors. These are not the same custom job sponsors do. They color them and such, but this is just plain sick! We have some serious airbrush artists here on tech, and I think they are doing a great thing by providing these services to members without the "ass-raping" a shop would charge someone. Keep up the great work guys! I may contact you soon! |
