I would get rid of the front plate and get a new grille . Just my opinion.

the color is called phantom gray metallic. i would love to take my front plates off but cops in my area are very strict. i've gotten a warning a while back for taking the font plates off.

here is another shot with the halos on right before sunset.

You ever think of putting the front plate on your air dam? You could also get a billet grille and put the plate behind that. I dont know, just giving you some ideas. Here is a thread with a pic if you are curious https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/321852-camaro-license-plate-display-how-do-you-do.html.

thanks for the compliments guys!

total install took me about 1.5 hours. day before i installed them, i added some black silicone sealant and i also re-glued the rubber strip around the lenses.

for a better fit, take out your old headlight brackets and swap them with the halo brackets. i wired up the halos to go on with the folg lights. these will look good when you have the drl's disabled. i simply tapped the red wire (halo wire) into the purple wire off the fog light. the remaining white wire goes to the ground beside the radiator.

lenses fogged up a little bit on the first night but eventually went away.

it hasn't seen rain yet but i'll let you know as soon as it rains here in nj.

i am very pleased with my new halos! definitely makes the car look better!

Lithium i thought of the front air dam location but the plates wont survive the entrance to my apt. i also thought about getting a billet grille and trimming an area where the plates will go into. last idea i have is to paint the stock grille glossy black or same body color. i would really love to have a wings west grille or an ss grille...
