I have to admit I kinda wondered about this awhile back but never remembered to search for it. I like my camaro seats, but c5 seats may be just that much better.

It is possible im sure... as anything in life basically is. Just how far are u willing to go and how much u willing to spend. Hopefully someone "chimes" in and gets some pics and maybe even a write-up for it! (I'd like to know if there is an easier way than custom mounting bracets and ****)

Yes its possible. Doing a search in A&D will net some posts where people have put vette seats in an Fbody.

To install the C5 seats you need to use your F-body seat tracks and drill new holes in both the tracks and the seat frames. Spacers are installed between the tracks and seats to provide clearance for the reclining mechanism and to compensate for the curvature of the passenger side seat track.
For the wiring, my C5 seats were full power (I am not using the power seat tracks) with memory with a 6 wire plug, and F-body wiring harness is a 2 wire plug. I removed the pins from the 2 wire plug and put them in a 6 wire plug and added 2 more wires to run over to the passenger seat. For the seat side of the connector I spliced in some jumper wires to provide power for the passenger seat and to tie together the 3 hot wires for the drivers seat.
The divers seat does sit up slightly higher than the factory seat by about 5/8" or so, and the passenger seat is about 1 1/4 inches higher, which is fine for my wife at 4'11" tall.
There are a couple of photos of the finished seats on my Cardomain page
