Zaino swirl remover question..
I know they say you can apply it by hand, or by a pc or such, so here is my question...I applied a small amount by hand, worked nice for a by hand application, but I want to try it by machine. The only "buffer" I have is a black & decker "buffmaster" buffer and polisher. Will that work, or do I need a pc? Thanks in advance.

You want to make a car look like glass???
1500 then to 2000 grit sandpaper (wet sanding of course!)
3M FineCut compund (machined)
3M Trizact PERFECT-IT Polish (Machined)
3M Final Glaze (By Hand)
Sounds like alot of work and it is but do a little at a time like i do. I break it down into a few days but man when it was done I have never seen anything so perfect. Looked like the car was wet and NO orange peel what so ever.
Now I use Zaino that I have all the factory Orange Peel and small scatches gone and it is undescribable (SP?).
FYI - You know when to stop wet sanding when you dont see shinny spots anymore. Let me know if you have any questions

I just finished washing my car and doing the quick detailer with Mcguiars. It is clean, but there are scratches and swirls and even orange peel places in the paint. The car only has 14k mi. I have a garage now so I would like to get it perfect. The wet sanding sounds risky, especially for a newbie, but the end result sounds promising. Are you sure it is safe? Can I mess up the paint?

Wetsanding compromises a significant portion of the UV prohibiting clearcoat. It is not recommended for daily driver type vehicles.
A regular paint polish should take care of your swirls, etc.
