Looks good Ryan! It was a lot of work but it defintly paid off. You have came along way. Is this your second or third actual paint job?
Guys Ryan used a fiberglass epoxy and laid it over the dash pad. It was a little stronger and figured it would hold up a little better than just spraying coats of high build primer over the dash pad. Ryan has an amazing biuld going on and it will defienlty be something to see when he gets it completed.

Thanks Adam...
As Adam stated (02 TA), I started with the factory dash, sanded it down with 80 grit trying to get rid of most of the cracks in the vinyl...Then I used a Fiberglass Resin, and filled in the majority of the shape, then sanded it up to 220, then I went with Regular filler, sanded it to 220, then I used a final glazing compound, once again to 220, shot if with 3-4 coats of high build epoxy primer, sanding them smooth then shot it one final high build coat, sanded it flat up to 320, then laid 3 coats of PPG DBU9700, then 2 coats of DCU2002 High Gloss Polyurethane Clear....
I'm not worried about the glare too much, yes there will be some...It's a show car, that might see 5000 miles a year if it's lucky...so wear sunglasses if you want a ride...Thanks for all the compliments, Adam that was actually my FIRST solo paintjob believe it or not....Second total, only having helped you help on the Engine bay bein the first one...other than that just spray bombs, outside of the airbrushing at school...
Hopefull I can get you guys pics @ Thanksgiving when I'm home next of the completed top, dash installed, and the Carbon Headliner as well...who knows maybe a few more as well!!

As a general rule most interior changes don't come out too well but *that* is amazing. Beats the crap out of the entire dash done in CF.
As per 'shine back' issues, can't imagine it would be any worse than CF but what do you plan to reduce some of that while driving? It only matters when you are behind the wheel...with the low pitch at the bottom end I could see a dark tint that wouldn't impede vision but not sure if it would work.
Yes. Pictures when you get done in a month
