Default Superhawk Outlaw Hood. How do I get one?

http://community.webshots.com/album/109206297AiZsMP/1

What needs to be done to get this hood? I've done a lot of reading and have yet to find a clear answer on the status of this hood. If VFN will make it, or someone else. If Roger sold the mold. I have no idea whats going on. All I know is I want this hood. So what needs to be done to get one? Is there a company that can one off this hood? Whats the price look like for something like that?

Basically right now nobody plans on producing this hood. We all expressed our interest to VFN about having this hood produce and they said they have no plans on producing them. You may be SOL

Find someone who has one and see if theyll sell it. If they dont want to just steal it. Its the only way youll get one.

I dont understand why this hood isnt in production? The demand is there... there just isnt a supplier.

It was, but Roger @ US Exotics moved onto different endeavours so he stopped making Fbody hoods.

I believe VFN has said they're in the process of trying to acquire everything they need to make this hood. PM, email or search for some more info on this hood. I know VFN has said in other posts what their situation is but hit them up and see what they say directly.

VFN has flat out said they will not be producing them

Hey Guys.
Just wanted to answer everyone's questions/comments:
TA Guy~ this is correct, Roger did not grant us rights to the superhawk hood. We do not have plans on producing this hood only the ws9 that Roger has been working with us on.
01RedWS6 ~ on the mecham hood, if you could pm/email me with pics I could talk to production about the possibility on that project.
COY ~ We will offer the WS9 in both fiberglass and carbon - however, we are not setup to do a cosmetic finish on our products - in which the c/f material shows thru a clear coat finish...our c/f products arrive in a black gelcoat and do require paint. These c/f parts are geared for racers who wish to shave off the
On Status of the WS9 ~ we have a local guy scheduled for test fitting tomorrow (saturday). If all goes well with the test fitment, we should have some pics and a date of availability sometime next week...
If we could get about 9-10 guys interested, we could run a gp on this hood. Not sure exactly what the reg. cost is yet until the test fit is complete and the owner gives me the ok on the price. I know that they will be comparable to Roger's prices on the ws9 hoods.
Thanks everyone!
Jeanie

It sucks that no one will make this hood. I know I would take one in a heart beat. A vender needs to step up and make it. like it was said the demand is there.

Looks I may have to settle for a Raptor which is my second choice.

Why is it that us Bird owners always get jipped.....dang camaro boys get all the cool toys and support.

I agree I'd buy one too, its been said before and I'll say it again, our sponsors are really missing out by not producing a superhawk outlaw or similar hood.

So what do we need to do to get this thing rolling. Lets build some interest and maybe we can make enough noise for a sponsor to hear us. Like a GP 10 off run or something! I mean especially if they have the mold...

I'm right here with you guys as well. I've always like the Firehawk hood and would have gotten one if I had known about them when I purchased my T/A 5 years ago. I've got a grand sitting waiting for the hood (hood + paint).

Someone should be able to make something similar to a Firehawk but a little more aggressive.

I agree even if its not a superhawk outlaw as long as its similar to the firehawk but more aggressive looking I would buy it. I love how the firehawk hood looks like it belongs more but I dont like how alot of people cant even tell its different than a stock non-ws6 hood. If the superhawks arent around by this coming summer I guess I will be getting a WS9, although id much rather have a superhawk or something similar

Too many quality issues with the Raptor hood. I want the Superhawk hood, it looks so sick in person.

Yea that hood is ridiculous looking, I love the regular ram air, but I want something different, and the superhawk hood has everything. The sleekness of the raptor air, and the aggressivness of the ram air hood.

First thread I've seen bashing raptor quality. Heard mostly good stuff about Suncoast.
