did you just use an emblem that would go on the doors?
thats pretty much what i pictured mine looking like, but i really want to do something nice looking and unique. but yours does look very nice

i really wish i felt like spending 200 bucks on an STB and i'd get the chrome hotchkis. those look badass

Mine's got an Edlebrock (sorry, no pics yet) but its gonna get replaced w/ a Hotchkis unit by spring-time.

As far as stripping a BMR strut tower bar, I don't think that you will have much luck. Those are all powdercoated not just painted.

Agreed. More than likely you'll have to have it sandblasted. After that, I'd have it re-poetercoated to the color of your choice. Just my .02

Thanks...
I just ordered the "Strut Tower Brace decal" from Brent Franker. Yeah the choice between the BMR or Hotchkis was difficult for me too, almost ordered them both just to see how they both looked on the car.

I also did the same thing to my V6:

BTW I also have a '79 TA, it isn't in my sig because I drove it into the ground in high school and it's been sitting in my dad's barn ever since :D

i dunno. i bought it from a guy for pretty cheap who said he had stripped down the yellow, primered it and painted it black. but the paint isnt too great and it chips and flakes off pretty bad in some places. i wish it was powder coated
