Black SS's with grills please post
 

I have a black SS with a billit grill but I hate it. Can you guys postpics of some diffeent grills so I can get some ideas. I saw a SLP grill with a little billit inserts on each side and the silver SS emblem. I liked that but can you guys give me some more ideas.

Pics in sig, was thinking of switching to the black grille instead of chrome.

LS2 bait. I love that grill. where did u get it? The only thing different would be I need the chrome badge.

It's just an SLP SS grill with some mesh behind the openings. Where did you get the mesh though? It definately makes the grill stand out more. I'd like to do that to mine.

got it at home depot, its actually gutter gaurd. if u look close u can see i did the one on the hood too.

i have a black billet grille. too scared to get rid of the license plate though.

I live in MD too, Elkridge. I've run my car for over 3 years now with no front plate. I keep in under the seat in my car. In that time I've only gotten 2 tickets, $55 each, and they don't assess any points. I one I went to court and the judge laughed it out and basically embarrassed the cop and the 2nd one I just paid. It's worth it to me to not have that damn plate.

Don't mean to totally steer off topic, but I'll be up in Maryland (Upper Marlboro) on Friday. Have any local hangout spots, or is it out of season now? I may be up to Glen Burnie sometime too.

Hmm...That looked fancier than gutter guard. I used the same stuff on my Sonoma bumper holes. I saw the scoop was the same. I had seen someone on another board that used some polished stainless steel wire mesh and it looked really good.

i think you would like the pictures of the cars without any grilles at all

how did you get the wire to stick? Can I get the same thing but with a chrome emblem?

SLP doesn't offer a chrome emblem. Only the red or silver outline SS if you get the SS grill or you can get one with a red outline Bowtie.

hot glue, and u would need to get dragonz28 to make u a polished emblem for it if u wanted one.

definitely nothing planned going on since its cold, unless you wanna call a small gathering, i'm not too far from upper marlboro at all and there are plenty of f-bodies in that area, my area, and the GB area in case you havent already seen.

be careful though, as there is somewhat of a small scale war going on between waldorf/GB relating to countless threads on EFA, mostly between two rival tuners and some of the cars they tune. cant wait to join that battle next year!!!

still scared, i cant afford a ticket of any amount regardless of points, plus i now have an outstanding speeding ticket i cant find nor have i recieved a court date for, that could mean trouble.

anybody have the part number for the SLP SS grill. I can only find the bowtie insert. If I get the SS insert in red, I can always just paint it or maybe leave it and see

where do yall get the black billet grills at??
