Time to start modding my car, need help (lost of questions)(interior) Hi, it's about time to start modding my 94 trans am.
Currently it has a charcoal leather interior, but I'd really like it black. I saw on that show Unique Whips that they had a special spraypaint to use on dashboards and such and was wondering how good it was?
I'd like to paint the dash and all the plastic pieces if possible to save money.
Also, are there any dye kits to make my carpet black? Or am I stuck with buying a new one?
What about my steering wheel? Will it have to be replaced?
What's the easiest way to take apart my dashboard to isntall new white face gauges?
Where can I find a nice tutorial to show how to replace the lights on the climate controls and headlight switch to be blue instead of stock orange?
I also just ordered 2 headlight assemblies to start gathering parts for the 98 conversion. Go me!

ok well first, use the search function, its quite usefull
to help answer ur question
1) dont paint ur whole interior, but if u have to use krylon fusion, its made ffor plastic.
2) yes u can buy carpet dye, not sure where but its available
3) why u changing the steering wheel? and do u want a stock one or racing one?
4)dunno about the guages, wondering myself
5) try the electrical section or something similar. its easy, just unbolt the hvac controls and the lil bulb is behind there
