I made a similar thread not too long ago, I think it looks really good, with the right colors of course...

I saw one red one in a thread a long time ago, but only part of the spoiler (the top) was painted black and it just looked OK.
So I guess its all about color combinations and personal preference. Its always good to be different... well sometimes lol.

For some reason it just doesn't look right to me...I am really suprised that no one has started the rice calling yet--not that I am. Everyone can do as they wish with what they have. If someone wants to paint it hot pink with purple race stripes then that is fine with me, as long as I don't wake up one morning and have to drive it. Just my 2 cents.

well you could be boring and keep it all the same color? I mean its just 2 toned paint not huge stickers and crazy body kits. Either way you look at it.. its still an LS1 5.7.

I have always wondered what this would look like on my car.... I have painted my car CETA style with Black B-pillar/sail panel, mirrors, and rear valence, and I hvae Black Z06 Motorsports Rims, so I think if I were to do that it would be a bit overkill on the black! my car is red btw

i guess you could say professionally done, my old man and I did all the work ourselves. He used to to paint and body for 20+ years until he had to quit because he was getting sick all the time from the chemicals in the paint and clearcoat getting absorbed into his skin! (he was old school and painted with just jeans and a t-shirt or the grease monkey) Then he got a degree and has a office job that suits the family well, especially since my sister and I are in college! But he paints as a side job now to make some extra cash or to customize our rides. here are some pics tho.

thank you guys! Duncan: nope I'm a Bucs fan! (gators fan for college, but I would never do a car in that color combo, or the bucs old colors either) Just a coincidence! The name dirtybird came about because I never washed my old V6 Firebird and one of my buddies gave it that nickname...
