Default Centermount exhaust on a Z28...yay or nay?

If anyone has pics, I'm looking for the SLP CME (not quad) on a Z28 with the stock Z28 spoiler.

Would it be stupid to have the CME on a Z28 (with chrome zr1 wheels)?

I like it, SS or Z28. I thought about it a while back and haven't done it yet.

Defintely! there are soooo many other exhaust routes you can take that have been played over and over and over.... CME looks AWESOME IMO. Itd be my #1 choice if I had a camaro. It just looks badass.

I found a fabricated stainless one on ebay. They are available in 2 1/2" and 3" outlets. Definetly stronger than the slp one. Those things crack because they are cast aluminum w/out bracing. Whatever you choose, definetly pimp! A real neck snappin option. Check this out! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CUSTO...QQcmdZViewItem

haw'nz how do you like the kuhmo ecsta supra 712's ? Mine spin... also do you know if the SLP CME tips can be welded back together if they broke in half ? Since they are cast aluminium like you say?

CME all the way, SS or Z28, doesn't matter. Camaros are sex with CME

Yeah, mine spin a lot also. You have to let some air out to get traction and launch at a low rpm. I have a slow reaction and lousy launch technique, 14.50's are the best I can do. The kumho's are an excellant street tire though and corners great. I have about 30k on mine and they are an excellant all season tire in Hawaii.
As far as fixing the cme, you would probably have to get someone to specially TIG weld the cast aluminum and it will probably be expensive! I've toyed with the idea of getting an aluminum cme, but I will probably get the 3" stainless steel one . It's a lot easier to fix myself! The cme is 2 1/2". Hope this helps
