Front DRL's?

Front DRL's? I've seen a lot of cars with front markers & headlights on!
i've reconected mine under the dash but can you wire these directly into your headlamps to come on/off at the same time & still have use of front turn signals? I've just puchased clear corners and would like to use them as driving lights but keep amber bulbs for the turn signals!
i'm no electrician but if some one can help me on this it'd be much appreciated
