Question Caliper decal questions

After years of building horsepower, I've decided to work on my car's appearance. I'll be ordering powder coated calipers soon and I'm thinking about getting "Trans Am" decals for them. Has anyone had problems with them peeling off? Also, If I get silver decals (what I want) will they be hard to keep clean? I'm worried about what brake dust, road grime, ect. will do to the silver vinyl. Should I get black decals instead? BTW, my car is bright red and I'm getting red calipers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kerry

When I painted my calipers I put chrome letters on it then put a clear coat over them That will help to keep the letters in place..

Clear coated mine as well. Some Simple green and a rag will usually clean them up just fine.

When you have you decals cut tell them you want a stencil. The put that on paint it silver then pull the stencil off you can clear it you want. looks much better than stickers
