Dude, that is awesome! An LS1 in a Firebird! You'll humiliate many V6 Mustangs that want to play, and the V8 GTs that try to pick on you thinking you're a V6 will be a priceless win, lol.

All I have to say is damn. Just out of curiousity...how much would you say the total transformation cost including everything? Just curious if it seemed worth it in the end. Thats a lot of work but I bet it was fun.

i traded a truck car and some engine stuff that i had about 500$ into.Bought the V6 car for 800.The LS1 was 2500$ off ebay that came with everything and some and the add ons were about 300$.Paint was 1000$.So I have about 5100$ into it and pay for cheap insurance hehe.

Turned out great man, but I would suggest going to your insurance company and see how much TA coverage would be. If its not much more, I'd tell them that its been coverted to a trans am, and you would like to have it coverd as one... You wouldn't want to wreck it and only get paid for a old six banger

Everyone has the Trans Am,you dont see to many formulas plus i think they have a cleaner look to them.My friend has a Trans Am and i cant stand the wing and the lights in the front bumper dont fit they are to big for the holes that are there.But hey trans am formula firebird there all family

hey, that's my v6 firebird! i wrecked it in march of 04 and you came all the way out to pick it up. glad to see you made out OK with it, it looks great. keep me updated on what you do with it

and it looks pretty sweet with the black hatch on there i think too!

loooks great man! I would of personally kept the lt1 formula front end just for the sleep look! I would love to do that, perfect way to customize everything to your likings!

i need to get a hood for it and then i will maybe paint the 2 tone on that but i need a few things for it yet.i am in the middle of putting a twin turbo on it now then it will be complete.
