POLL: Ram Air Hoods on Camaros (Pics Inside) There are mixed feelings on this hood on this site so I thought I'd start a poll to see what everyone really thinks of it. I have this hood myself, but it has some damage and I don't know whether I want to fix it or not. I want the SS hood but don't want to spend the money.
I can spend a few hundred to get the top repainted or I can throw my old hood on for free. If I put my old hood on I am losing the functional hood scoops getting cold air to my K & N FIPK as well as adding an extra 40 pds or so compared to the ram air hood. I don't know if I like the way it looks anymore though now that I took my Xenon body kit off so I though I'd get your guy's opinions. I know, I know it has large body gaps but I want to know what you think it does for the overall look of the car/front end. Any constructive criticism is appreaciated!
The first pics are my car before I took off the body kit. The pics were taken while it was on jack stands, they give a good view of the hood.

I like that hood on your car. It sets it apart from other Camaros.....SS hoods are sweet, yes.....but thats the hood everyone gets (my car is no exception....of course, it was there before I bought it).

Ram Air hoods were designed to follow the T/A's lines. I really like SS hoods on Camaros. Sure, everybody here gets them, but how many Camaro's on the street do you see with them. I've only seen 1, 2 at the most, around town. The few times that I've seen it its a real head turner.
