Default SOM T/A + Snow & Brick Post = ...

Mustang cold air intake mod!!!

So I need a new bumper, headlight assembly, and Daytime running light, from what I can see. The hood is cracked and the fender is bent.

I want to get a Junkyard bumper and repaint it, not sure if I want a formula/v6 bumper or another T/A bumper. And maybe a new fender since mine's bent, unless I can bend it back. And I'd also like to get a new ws9 outlaw hood if my hood isn't repairable. I want to do most of the work myself to save on costs too. But save the final paint for a professional.

I am not claiming this on my insurance so far...

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Damn man that sucks! Guess you got another reason to try and fab up a non-popup headlight assembly.

Personally, I'd keep the TA bumper. Looks more menacing than the birds. Swap in some HID fogs and a Raptor hood and you've got a badass looking ride (the WS9 hood is cool too, I just like how smooth the raptor is) once its all finished.

haha you might wanna think again

Last Friday rain and cold temps hit arkansas to memphis. I was driving home from school from Northwest Arkansas to Memphis. I drove all the way through memphis in this snow mix. And it was NASTY! I make it all the way to my driveway and decide to not leave my car in the cove and just let it continue to roll up the driveway. If it makes it, it makes it. If not, ill roll back to the cove. So as I'm rolling up it hit a slick spot and one tire fell off the driveway that pulled the car down and I started rolling into the post.

C'est la vive.

Walk it off... thats just a flesh wound

Check with a professional before you buy alot of parts... the front fender and hood may not have to be replaced at all. They don't look too damaged. You will need a new headlight assembly and front bumper cover for sure.

Check with this guy for parts, he has a huge 4th gen F-body only junkyard: http://www.billygrahamscamaro.com

Very ture - that damage looks minimal and I wouldn't even consider it a wreck because it can be repaired relatively cheap while at the same time it can get done right. It doesn't appear to have any frame skewness from the impact, so new parts should bolt right up without any fitment issues. Just make sure you stay away from aftermarket junk and you'll be fine.

I'd go with the front clip off a bird instead of a T/A.

I'm very sorry to see that. She's still a gorgeous car though.

I think that unless you know what you're doing, I'd advise against trying to do a bunch of that stuff yourself. I completely understand on saving costs, because no one wants to spend too much money, but I think you should have some sort of body shop do any of the major work that may be required for that. Doing the bumper or something would be fine, but you wouldn't want to mess with the headlight assembly or mess with the fender and have it end up looking like crap when you're done.

Take care and good luck.

Exact same thing happened to me last winter. I searched a total of three months for a driver side head light I finally got it from a local member on this site for a good price. Junk yards and ebay had it the driver side going for well over $350.00. My bumper was cracked as well and I had the shop repair it. I had the hood cracked as well and the shop repaired it as well. I had the work done at one of the best auto body shops near chicago for a great price. All in all they did an excellent job. My car looks even better now with the paint job.

It should cost less than $800.00 to repair that if you really put time and effort into getting the parts and a good deal. You do not need a new bumper nor new hood. All you need is a driver side head light assembly + body work + kick *** SOM paint job. Good luck.
