That looks bad ***, I like how you also painted the tensioner, Power steering bracket ETC. It looks really good.Did you just use a rattle can and some sand paper?

IMO, the red clashes terribly with the orange. Paint them black.

Still, that's a badass motor you've got going for yourself.

Id like it, but Id have to say it may just look better done in orange like the rest of the parts. Then again it could be to much orange once you do it like that. Overall I give you a thumbs up.

No. Harbor Freight style HVLP gun and a $55 quart of HOK paint. Enough to paint 50 engines. Thx for positive compliments, I'll post more once I get some coil covers on.

How long will that orange last on that tensioner though? Very sweet looking indeed.

why wouldnt it last? Are you talking about the washer, or the tensioner itself?

It may, but anytime you have ANY kind of friction rubbing paint, it's bound to wear down. Just curious as to if many people paint them, it looks like 11secss has his anodized, that seems like it would last longer.

Er. you mean the waterpump pulley, then. I was wondering the same thing, we'll see.
if it rubs off, i'll remove it, clear the crap out of it, and try again.
