Getting decals off well i have some car club decals on my black T bar part of the car right behind the sail panel, now when i peel them off there is a outline and sticky residue left behind that kinda hardened a bit. will goo gone take care of it or what??? |
yeah it should. its just stuck on adhesive. i never used goo gone myself, but any type of adhesive remover should work. |
yeah its just the backing on a peel off and stick decal, i just wanted to make sure it wouldnt rub some of the black off of it and make it all shitty looking. |
WD40 is your friend here, as well. Great for bugs and tar, too. Just remember to wash and re-wax the area after. |
yeah im gonna be washing her prolly tomorrow or early friday for the F-Body meeting that night, got to get her shined up for all the other guys to look at lol. |
3m adhesive (sp) remover works real well also. Used in a few different times. |
all the above, rubbing alcohol works good too, especially if you are trying to make decals stick to cars. |
yeah i was thinking about using that instead of goo gone since i think this was 3m sticky material. |
