Getting decals off

well i have some car club decals on my black T bar part of the car right behind the sail panel, now when i peel them off there is a outline and sticky residue left behind that kinda hardened a bit. will goo gone take care of it or what???

yeah it should. its just stuck on adhesive. i never used goo gone myself, but any type of adhesive remover should work.

yeah its just the backing on a peel off and stick decal, i just wanted to make sure it wouldnt rub some of the black off of it and make it all shitty looking.

WD40 is your friend here, as well. Great for bugs and tar, too.

Just remember to wash and re-wax the area after.

3m adhesive (sp) remover works real well also. Used in a few different times.

all the above, rubbing alcohol works good too, especially if you are trying to make decals stick to cars.

yeah i was thinking about using that instead of goo gone since i think this was 3m sticky material.
