Well, I wanted the real deal. I didn't feel that the stainless ones looked right. I wanted the look of SLP's, not the knockoffs. I knew I was going to have to pay a premium to get them anyways.

You paid for them so you might as well enjoy the purchase. Let the slight buyers remorse wear off, and don't look back.

One bit of advice. Take them to the best exhaust shop in town, so you don't get them booger-welded and slightly crooked and then you'll REALLY have buyer's remorse.

Wow, I bid on those and was in absolute shock when I saw how high the bidding was going. Especially when there's a couple sets for sale in the for sale section here.

Holy HELL. Isn't SLP still having a sale on the CME parts? If not, then I think LMPerformance.com still has some of that stuff.

And as Firehawk#608 said, take it to the best exhaust shop you can find to have them do it. There's nothing worse than the people who buy CME and it ends up being crooked or looking crappy because someone couldn't install it right.

EVERYONE is out of them, and they won't be made ever again either.

I didn't pay that much for my setup but once you get them on you'll feel better!

SLP sold all they had left, and they made them. From what Ive heard nobody has them, they're all gone. So if you dont have a set now you may not be able to find a set.

Maybe I missed something, but why did they stop producing them altogether?

Because GM stopped making the cars in 2002. It's a dead car and not worth the expense in their eyes.
