Question Wheel well plastics.... REMOVAL

Is there some kind of special trick to getting the little tabs off that are nearest to the fender?

Im putting new ones in.. I drove on the freeway with the driver side front piece not bolted in and my tire burned a hole in it from rubbing. Friend of mine is selling me a set from his parts car, so I need to get these bastard little tabs off.

Thanks..

The only things holding it in are the bolts (socket style) and some christmas tree tabs. I just yanked mine out.

Tell me about it.. after I got mine out I experimented with a section on one. First I took some rubbing alcohol and a rag and cleaned a spot real good... then took something with real light grit (Meguiars Scratch X) and rubbed it in for a while... wiped off with a dry rag... then used some Meguiars tire dressing. So far it looks KILLER!
